3.99.18 panics on boot

Hello everyone:

To give the latest NetBSD on my otherwise idle hp712 a try, I downloaded
     netinstall.lif 3.99.18 as of 2006-04-18

right after stateing the memory the kernel panics

avail mem = 108 MB

Any useful information I could retrieve from the debugger?
Since this is from the keyboard I will have to re-type, so please
be specific which data could help. (above is also retyped)

I have still installed 3.99.8 which boots over the network as well as
from disc.
