netbsd-7 is broken

Hi

So I found my Jornada 720 and wanted to give NetBSD a spin on it but it is =
totally fubar.
I downloaded a netbsd-7 kernel and booted, everything looks good until init=
 is started.
This message keeps scrolling on the screen (transcribed):
1.1(init): trap: signal 11 code=3D1 addr=3D0x2160 trap=3D0x2160
and a register dump. Most registers are zero except:
r1=3Dc5, r5=3Dc5, r6=3D3b, rB=3Dbfffde28
ip=3D40030ac8, sp=3Dbffdda8, lr=3D400257bc
pc=3D00002160, spsr=3D60000010

Anyone with a clue still on this list?
