I think that pckbd_keydesctab[] was constified incorrectly.  Preceding
commetns says:

/* KBD_NULLMAP generates a entry for machine native variant.
   the entry will be modified by machine dependent keyboard driver. */
   ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

So the right fix is to unconst the array.
