trouble with wireless

hi! i have a compaq wl100 wireless card that i'm trying to get  
working with my network. I am wondering if the hpcmips ports supports  
128 bit wep encryption. I can't seem to get the system to connect  
through my access point with wep, but if i setup my imac as a  
wireless access point without wep it works. i'd really like to use my  
linksys one though because i have a few of them spread out through  
out the area. anyone know how to fix this?
