Hi foks:

I am trying to get email set up and running on my NetBSD/Mobilepro
790 machine. I decided to use mutt, esmtp, and fetchmail. I have a
few questions on how to set it all up, and now I am stuck on
fetchmail (perhaps more questions will come from setting up mutt and
esmtp later. . .)

When I reboot, I see messages about sendmail starting. Do I need
sendmail if I have those other 3 programs installed and running
correctly? What do I need to edit to stop sendmail from starting up?

Also, I am trying to poll 2 servers, one of which is a groupwise
server at gwia.pen.wisc.edu. When I run fetchmail -k I see a bunch
of messages on the console "Recipient names must be specified". What
does this mean?

Also, where is the best location (.profile, .login, etc.) to put
fetchmail -d 900 to start fetchmail up in daemon mode?

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,
Tom Isenbarger
