7.0 installation on z50 ends in db

Hi,

did anyone try to install NetBSD 7.0 on their z50 yet?

I get dropped into the debugger while base.tgz is being extracted:

 > Stopped in pid 104.1 (tar) at   801d5634:   lw   v0,8(s0)

Up to that point, everything seemed to work - booting with 
hpcboot, detection of CF card and NE2000 PCMCIA card, downloading 
sets from ftp.netbsd.org, unpacking of the kernel set...
