Running NetBSD-7.1 inside VMware

Hello!
Okay, I've managed to get NetBSD-7.1 running inside VMware Player and
this release  of Player is part of the 3 series. (The host is a I386
system running Linux.)

How come the installer didn't let me set the domain name for the
installed image? Did it expect to pick that up from the DHCP service
on the VMware system? Or from the router, if the system was being
installed native?
