HI,
I followed your recommendations, I gave up XFCE4 for MATE, but alas the 
mouse and keyboard does not work!
With Mate I am in screen display at 2k, but without mouse and keyboard, 
I am blocked.
I did research on the internet but I can not find the parameter or the 
daemon to load in the /etc/rc.conf.
do you know this problem?
I also encounter problems following compilations of X modules.
