Gcc issue with stack protector

Hi folks,

PR 59994 shows a bad failure with the gcc in NetBSD 11.0_RC1 where
the stack protector creates bogus code, minimal reproducer included.
Would anyone be able to check this with a newer gcc and maybe report
this upstream if it is still there?
