-current kernels have wrong magic when net-booting?

Hi, while attempting to boot -current kernels on a few Macs (a Quadra 650 and two 700) I found that they would boot from harddrive, but not when net-booted. Here, the kernel was rejected because of a wrong magic (boot log attached). I tried a pared-down kernel config of 9.99.82 sources, same result. Older kernels (5.99.62, 7.99.something) were recognized. Has anything on the NetBSD side changed here recently, or are the kernels just too big now? Does anybody else net-boot?
