I'll resist the urge to pile on here and just note that when I used build.sh, it did not produce a kernel that the Classic II could boot. As I noted above, that kernel causes the machine to hang in Booter. Thus, building in QEMU doesn't seem like a *super* unreasonable suggestion, though I would (and did) use build.sh before resorting to this. John Klos, would you mind sharing exactly how you invoked build.sh to produce the kernel you sent above, along with host OS, compiler version, etc? Thanks, Ben
