Issues with NetBSD 8.1 macppc

Hi,
I'm facing some using when using NetBSD 8.1.
First :
NetBSD-8.1-macppc.iso is not usable under qemu-system-ppc. It boots but it
keeps showing strange symbols.
Second ( which might be related to the first ) :
I tried to boot NetBSD-8.1-macppc.iso on my Ibook G4. It does not shows any
weird symbols however when in main menu screen it shows "NetBSD 8.1 RC1"

Is it possible the ISO in https://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/iso/8.1/ still
RC1 ?
