Airport Extreme (bwi) interrupt storm

Hello

Still playing with NetBSD 9.2 on iBook G4. The Airport Extreme WiFi does
not work. 

I installed the firmware as explained in bwi(4). It loads, but 
ifconfig bwi0 up causes an interupt storm: systat vm reports aroudnd 
90000 interrupts on openpincirq 52. The system gets very slow until 
ifconfig bwi0 down is done.
