Hi, I went through a few versions of the NetBSD installer, below is from testing 6.1.5, I got similar results with more recent versions, up to 9.3. I can load up 9.3 again if it is of interest. (the system runs stable on Ultrix 4.5 and I used NetBSD-10.0RC3 to build a kernel which took a few days of heavy system load) >>boot 3/rz2/netbsd NetBSD/pmax 6.1.5 FFSv1 Primary Bootstrap NetBSD/pmax 6.1.5 Secondary Bootstrap, Revision 1.5 Boot: 3/rz2/netbsd 5399344+81992=0x53a80c Starting at 0x80030000 segment 0 start 00000000 size 04000000 phys segment: 0x4000000 @ 0 adding 0x293000 @ 0x56d000 to freelist 1 adding 0x3800000 @ 0x800000 to freelist 0 pmap_steal_memory: seg 0: 0x56d 0x56d 0x800 0x800 pid 0(system): trap: cpu0, address error (load or I-fetch) in kernel mode status=0x80010, cause=0x30000010, epc=0x8000001c, vaddr=0xdeadbeef tf=0x8056cce8 ksp=0x8056cd88 ra=0x800b01e0 ppl=0 panic: trap halted.
