Hi All, I checked a few more things. 1)R12000 I checked whether it would boot on my O2 with R12000, and it all booted with 7.2, 8.3 and 9.[0-3]. This check, and all the previous checks, were done using the serial console. 2)R5000 I regularly use the serial console, but I tried to check whether it would boot using the graphics console. I have only tried one so far, but I was unable to boot netbsd-GENERIC32_IP3x of 9.0 (which could be booted with the serial console). The kernel started, displayed a few messages, then suddenly shut down before displaying the copyright message. It won't turn on, so I'm planning on using jumpstart to recover it. There seem to be other problems besides PR#57654 mentioned in the previous email. Regards, -- Yoshihiko Iwama
