You are correct; I looked for them before and coudn't find them. I looked more carefully today and found them, and, yes, I had my sticks of RAM in slots 1 and 3. :-/ I also remembered what you said about the -9V line. I got out my Fluke and measured between chassis ground and the -9V and -9V return lines. Each one showed about 1M to ground. Between the two shows 6.44k. Each of those measurements is within measurement error of invariant under swapping the test leads.
