Has anyone tried to Boot a Turbo with ADB?

Hi,
    Has anyone tried to boot a turbo Color (with the appropriate boot loader
and Turbo-Kernel) using ADB keyboard and mouse? (would it work?)

Do you know if the serial console is still required for the latest
Turbo-Kernel?
