I have connected a serial console, so I can paste the output here: ---8<--- Welcome to SmartFirmware(tm) for bplan EFIKA5K2 Version 1.3 (20070122084838) SmartFirmware(tm) Copyright 1996-2001 by CodeGen, Inc. But I don't see a kernel panic or messages about missing /dev/console. Robert Swindells worked on Efika support six years ago, and there was a kernel, which detected a lot more devices and already had an mpc5200- specific interrupt handler: http://mail-index.netbsd.org/port-ofppc/2009/07/oindex.html Maybe you want to try his latest patches: ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/misc/rjs/ > I have found this ppc board and I'm > trying to find a runnable operating system (that is not Linux as this > board only has 128 MB). Yes, having NetBSD on this nice little board would be great. --=20 Frank Wille
