Folks, I've been wondering for a while why -current was getting slower on my 8MB pc532. I've just sent an analysis of this to tech-kern and tech-perform. In a nutshell, if you have a small memory box, add vm.anonmax=95 to /etc/sysctl.conf and you'll be much happier.
