Yes, that does indeed work.
I did some test bootings after I sent the previous mail and netbsd-5 was th=
e latest that booted.
6 & 7 did not boot but crashed much earlier b/c other brokeness.

I was hoping to get some pointers from tnn@ since he said he had looked
at this before but couldn't find his patches and he didn't have time when w=
e talked.
