serial term on pmax, netbsd 2.0

Hi all,

didn't play for a while with my decstations, so I guess I missed
something obvious. I installed the ISO CD from netbsd, 2.0,
but I can't edit anything, because "vi" scrolls always like two screens,
so the cursor is on the wrong page.

I have an real vt220 attached to it, and TERM is set to vt220, running 
/bin/csh ...

What did I miss ?
