RE: X Server under 2.0.2 on MAXine (on-board graphics)

i threw out my mipsen and vaxen because of that inability to compile a wscons
kernel and get x up and running...too bad! its hopeless for me...those who know
are few and apart...Fred

Im am trying tu run the Xserver on MAXine (Personal DECstation 5000/25) with
on-board framebuffer (AKA CX/cfb ?) under NetBSD/pmax 2.0.2.
xdm don't start.
I have tried the GENERIC and the WSCONS kernels.

With the WSCONS kernel, the boot process freezes at :
Configuring network interfaces: le0
The GENERIC kernel don't show this freezing.


Is there still some problem with the X server, also under 2.0.2 ?

What are the workarounds ?
