no support for DECstation 3100 in 3.1 kernel?

Hi,

I'm trying to load NetBSD 3.1 on a DECstation 3100 (the real PMAX).
I tried the diskimage and booting fails with:

panic: CPU type (0x216) not supported

The very same happens when I install the system on a 5000/150
and then move the disk to the PMAX.

The next thing I'm going to try is building a custom kernel on the
/150 and make sure there is PMAX support in there.
However, this should be considered a bug, shouldn't it?
