I still get aborts with this message from firefox36:
_res is not supported for multi-threaded programs.

I instaled kde-base4 in the hope to get a GUI browser with konqueror.
But this also crashes very often. So I have no usable GUI web browser
on this machine. This renders this machine unusable to me. Ether I have
to revert to MacOS or I need to get an other machine for usage in that
position. :-(
