FYI: i've switched the mips and powerpc ports to GCC 12.

sh3, m68k, m68000, and vax remain.  m68k is ready i believe,
m68000 doesn't yet build fully, sh3 may be problematic, and
vax is currently getting the same love our GCC 10 had, but
is not quite ready.
