Is the Wii wifi usable?

Hello! I've compiled latest NetBSD master to get the wii image that can 
detect the wifi module on the wii. Running ifconfig -a shows the wifi 
interface bwi0 but when I run 'ifocnfig bwi0 up' I get a "bwi0: 
firmware_open failed on v3/ucode5.fw". Am I missing some step for using 
the wifi or is it not actually working yet?
