What model of 7043 43P do you have? AFAIK there are at least -140 and 
-150. At the moment only -140 is supported.

Well. Floppies are very error prone. 
The *_com0.fs images are for serial console, BTW. 
Also you may try the images from 1.6. I know that they can be 
net-booted at least on the 43P-100.
