I can open a bug report. Are we saying that the disklabel on prep
should behave like the others where "c" is the NetBSD part of the disk
and "d" is the entire disk?

Don't forget skill... I have motivation but not too much time. But if
I had the skill, I would start working on it. I'm not a C coder,
unfortunately.

Thanks for your help. I've started writing a post to the list that
should clear up some questions about some of this stuff.
