Only: why do not consider  the introduction of this feature in GENERIC?
I think that this feature is usefull not only for DSM, but for every platform.

I think so: I tryed to connect  a usb key with ext2fs, an hard disk
(powered only via USB)  with the same type of filesystem, and
everything works fine.
Also, I tryed a NTFS hard disk: no strange messages.
Only if I connect my portable cdrom I have this strange behaviour.
The problem is evidenced every time.

Don't think so. The rt2560 card is a nightmare, but my AP is only two
meters away.
I will try with another security protocol (wep/none) to verify if is
only a WPA2/AES issue.
