Hmm, last time I checked ( a few weeks ago ) my R5k O2 was rock solid, managed to build KDE from pkgsrc without any trouble. Took a while but it got there eventually. I see filesystem locking related problems on other machines though. Do you use a DIAGNOSTIC kernel?
