Xorg doesn't even compile.
If you want X on the O2 install the binary packages from
ftp.netbsd.org and grab a few experimental replacements here: ftp://
ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/misc/macallan/sgimips
You need libxaa.so and crime_drv.so - put them into their respective
places under /usr/X11R6/lib, you may have to delete some old binaries
( like .la files )
XFree86.sgimips is a sample configuration file for XFree86.
Also, you can just grab the X packages from the same directory but
you still need to replace libxaa.so and crime_drv.so

With that you should get accelerated X in 32bit colour with a few
glitches ( as I said, vertical scroll bars in KDE and gtk2 look
funky, some pictures in konqueror aren't rendered right ) but it's
enough to run stuff like your not too fancy window manager of choice
( I tried windowmaker, fvwm2 and a few others, kwin works fine too )
plus a bunch or terminals ( anti-aliased text works fine and uses the
rendering engine whenever possible )

I don't think anyone has ever tested this on an R10k O2 though, there
might things that bite you in the rear end.

have fun
Michael
