Looks like a heisenbug. I no longer get the resets when mec_debug==-1.

I don't know if this is related, but I still get the 'cpu error 4'  
message, and the reported address is always 4000008. Is the reported  
address useful in any way?
What next? Should I try to setup a remote debugging environment?
