 	Maybe you could try reverting just the bus.h change on a 'slow'
 	tree to confirm? It certainly looks like the likeliest candidate.

 	Also, just to confirm - its not possible that there is some
 	warmboot/coldboot difference going on here that may be skewing
 	your results?
