You need a working xorg.conf, Xorg -configure doesn't work for some  
reason.

Also, for some reason some vertical and horizontal lines fall back to  
software now which on sgi hardware means they're not being drawn since  
there is no mappable / usable framebuffer. So far I couldn't figure  
out why.
