IIRC the IPX has an onboard "plain old" GX; could it be that the onboard GX interferes with an SBus 4M TGX+ in a way that doesn't effect SBus 1M TGX cards? Or perhaps the OpenBOOT ROM console-output code is getting confused between the two?Have you tried this particular TGX+ card in an SS2 with NetBSD 10? -- MikeSent from my Galaxy -------- Original message --------From: vom513 <[email protected]> Date: 11/09/2025 20:07 (GMT+00:00) To: [email protected] Subject: Re: TGX Plus on sun4c (IPX) problem > On Sep 11, 2025, at 3:03 PM, Mouse <[email protected]> wrote:> >> I realized I have a plain GX and a TGX. Using these in the IPX seems to work fine. It’s just the 4MB TGX+ that chokes.
