Re: SparcStation 4 serial console

I would hate to think that someone changed the nvram entry for the serial console.  If I remember correctly, there’s a way for root to examine the nvram settings.

Hardware flow control? The old Sun FAQ should mention it if anything
is special on the SS4.

Could there be anything set in OpenFirmware to lock the console to framebuffer?
