separate boot partition - some doubts

Hi,

my IPC is currently in an unusable state. Essentially, a 2GB disk is 
almost impossible for a full basic installation, but it could work 
perhaps by optimizing space better, since essentially fragmentation 
occurs when having e.g. / and /usr in two disks.
Currently, I had two 900 gb partition and swap, that would allow swap to 
be within 2GB and be good for boot and also the kernel would be always 
installed in the first place. Fine, but root fills me up totally.

I believe I can get everything squeezed in by having:

boot partition (128MB?)
swap partition (128MB)
root partition (1.7GB)

the boot partition should be able to contain only the kernel? kernel 
modules?
I would guess only a kernel and one or two back up kernels (e.g. for 
tests and an install kernel?)

What should be the mount point: /boot ?

Will the netbsd installer recognize it and install the kernel there or 
will it put in / and then needs to be manually moved?
