Is there any ? My current workflow for building my own sparc packages involves an amd64 VM on a fast host with CC environment set up, QEMU sparc, and last resort - real hardware. Some things don’t support cross-compiling - and some things seem to get hung up on not having a real target cpu doing the work (i.e. they “support” cross compiling but it doesn’t really work…) I now have a v240 and was wondering if I would get any benefit from cross compiling there ? I specifically mean in terms of anything that being on a sparc arch (albeit v9 vs v8/7) would help with ? Thanks.
