I have written CPUFLAGS=-mcpu=ultrasparc3 -mtune=ultrasparc3, not CPUFLAGS+=-mcpu=ultrasparc3 -mtune=ultrasparc3. > AFAICT you are never supposed to unconditionally kill COPTS and set it > to something new.
