Can you do (or add to ddb.onpanic) a "mach stack" here?

Do you have a netbsd.gdb? If so do "gdb netbsd.gdb" and do

list *(0x5ab4bce8)

or (if no netbsd.gdb):

gdb netbsd
x/16i 0x5ab4bce8
