IIRC the U60 didn't do that > though. Yeah, they drop into full POST ( and with a fully loaded U60 the memory test alone takes ages ) if they don't like what's in the NVRAM ( seen that lately on my 32bit SPARCs with dying NVRAMs ), Stop-N should override it though, and get you to OF. have fun Michael
