re: No keyboard after install

this is very odd.

can you run "stty -a -f /dev/console" when it is working and
work it is broken, and see if anything changes?  that's about
all i can think of off hand.

ttyflags mostly sets parameters that should either be already
set or need to be set for valid operation, but this time it
seems to be breaking valid operation.  it is needed for ports
marked "off" -- they may be used by something other than a
program in /etc/ttys, such as a dial out device.
