Hi, from my experience on x86-Linux it is possible to run newer PCIe GPUs in PCI-Slots with a PCIe-x1 to PCI adapter. Apart from a very slight delay when textures and stuff are loaded, i get full 3D acceleration for the desktop and also games run at an acceptable speed. Now i have seem that netbsd has adapted and integrated the nouveau drivers from Linux. So my question is: Would it be possible to run an nvidia gpu via PCI on netbsd sparc64? Has anyone ever tried this? (The limit is of course it would not run with OBP during boot - it would be a second card in the system, possibly running either a second accelerated Xserver or be the only card to run the Xserver after boot is complete). Regards, Connor
