No, I would never use -j with any VAXen, real or emulator :)

The above looks the way it does because, every minute, I manually cut-
n-pasted the screen view of "top" running on another window from which
I telneted to the emulated serial port I enabled on SIMH.  I pasted that
to a file.

The above is me going "grep cc1plus" on that file so one did not have
a thousand lines of predictable noise processes, but allow one to focus
specifically on the execution evolution over time.
