FWIW VAX firmware knows nothing about TC framebuffers (of course embedded
REX tests can be run), but hardware is compatible and I was able to get OS
console (glass TTY) output with one of the heftier SFB+ variants, possibly
ZLX-E3 aka PMAGD-CA, with my 4000/90 box booting Linux. I guess I could
try it with NetBSD sometime, but I yet need to figure out how to make the
4000/90 boot the system more than once in the first place (and it won't
happen soon, sorry).
