Im running a 4K90 right now. Installed RC4 (I think it was) a couple of 
weeks ago, including new boot, but didn't touch the boot block.
Now building RC5 (or are we at RC6 now?).

I've not seen any issues. But I'm sortof suspecting those disks you 
have. Do they have some power saving mode they get in to?
