I don't think there is - I've been through pretty much all the settings, 
and even the ones that look promising only support one option.  (ie, 
"COM1")  I'm not quite sure why it behaves like it does, but now that 
I've figured it out it's fine.  Assuming, that is, I can get everything 
set up while it's all still in my head. ;)
