any gotchas for AMD CPUs (esp. Ryzen 7 5825 and similar) with 10.1?

I'm renewing my office network with new kit. The core of the network is four essentially identical dual-boot machines, any of which is capable of taking on the normal responsibilities of any of the others. One of these is normally running Windows, the other three NetBSD. One of the three provides services to the outside world, one is used for business admin purposes and the third is for R&D activities. I am attracted to some machines with AMD Ryzen 7 5825 (and simuilar) CPUs I can see that the associated graphics processing is compatible with NetBSD/amd64 10.1 and I've emailed the manufacturer's support service to ask for details of chipsets etc. for WiFi, Ethernet etc. Are there other things I should be wary of? I was caught out last time around by the lack of support for RealTek WiFi in 7.0. Getting distinctly more bang for your buck than 11 years ago is great, but if I'm ignorant of a likely incompatibility, I would not be so happy. -- Steve Blinkhorn <[email protected]>
