Ah yes.  I have one myself, sitting around waiting for me to scrape
together the round tuits necessary to do something with it.

I suspect it won't be quite that simple.  As I understand it - and of
course my understanding is incomplete and likely flawed - the i386 port
depends on the BIOS for a number of things, and the RoadRunner does not
have a BIOS in that sense - in that respect it's more like other Sun
models than it is like a peecee.

How much this will interfere with a port I have no idea; I'd have to
try it myself to have more than wild guesses.
