Hi, I've set up a more clean environment to build haiku, under it's own user and with a statically linked, bootstrapped gcc 2.95. Also I've only checked out the minimum from CVS. Currently I'm building libroot and it's going much smoother than the last attempt. However I've come across this problem: haiku@mrmadsen:~/build/source/current/src/kernel/libroot$ jam don't know how to make <syscalls>syscalls.S.inc ...patience... ...found 1106 target(s)... ...can't find 1 target(s)... ...can't make 1 target(s)... ...skipped <src!kernel!libroot!os>syscalls.o for lack of <syscalls>syscalls.S.inc... ...skipped 1 target(s)... I solved it last time (perhaps incorrectly) but I want to get it right this time. So where should this syscalls.S.inc go, and where should it come from? These are in the kernel tree: haiku@mrmadsen:~/build/source/current/src/kernel$ find -name syscalls* ./core/syscalls.c ./libroot/os/arch/m68k/syscalls.inc ./libroot/os/arch/mips/syscalls.inc ./libroot/os/arch/ppc/syscalls.inc ./libroot/os/arch/sh4/syscalls.inc ./libroot/os/arch/sparc64/syscalls.inc ./libroot/os/arch/x86/syscalls.inc ./libroot/os/syscalls.S Thanks, -- Gert van Valkenhoef <gertvv-8LkvcxCLB6JmR6Xm/[email protected]> ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IntelliVIEW -- Interactive Reporting Tool for open source databases.
